I LOVE DAVID ARCHULETA

Photobucket

it has been a week since the end of season 7 of american idol but im still upset over the hard fact that cook won. 12 million votes- it just means that cook fans voted 1000 times as hard after simon called the finals a 'knock-out', favouring archie. the producers apparently want cook to win judging from the top 3 song choices. like they stopped archie from doing an upbeat version of 'Longer'(archie still did his thing but the outcome may prolly differ) and made syesha sing a penguin song. they let cook sing the amazing 'Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' by Aerosmith, which was originally archie's choice of song. now isnt that obvious that idol producers want cook to win? maybe simon did the 'knock-out' thing delibrately to harvest more votes for cook(a local mag had the same sentiments, so im not the only one). they should probably change the title of this show to 'Producers' Idol'.

okay whatever it may be, everything happens for a reason. maybe archie is meant for greater things (than AI) in life. since he's not bounded by the company in any way, he can do whatever he wants with his music, in other words, freedom. from idol history (a reliable source i've read), it seems that winners bounded to the company didnt do very well until they signed on another contract elsewhere (think kelly c, carrie u. this is a fact- im not cursing cook in any way). PLUS, he IS seventeen. lots of time to improve on his musicianship. who knows if he'll take up zac efron in HSM? he is, afterall, a teen idol already. AND, maybe he'll be as sexy as JT in 8 years time. what i wanna say is- youth is an asset. so, GOOD FOR YOU ARCHIE! it may actually prove to be a smart move not to win AI afterall. the world needs another clay aiken. all the way archie! the next josh groban(or even better)! :D

im not gonna bash cook in anyway cos i feel that both archie and cook are amazingly talented in their own elements. like, i cant imagine archie rocking out on an electric guitar nor can i think of cook playing piano gracefully. its like comparing apples and oranges; they're uncomparable. its a matter of perference. obviously i prefer pure voice over raspy voice, and pop/ballad over rock. im sure i'll be a cook stalker if they were the other way round. i like them both but i still love archie much MUCH more.

so having said that, what the hell is wrong with some cook fans who are still bashing archie after their cookie won? cute+ adorable+ amazingly talented+ incredibly humble+ a great sport+ supportive+ lovable+ being 17 years old+ his love for music+ being a prodigy DOES NOT EQUATE TO gay. so why dun they get a life and be glad that cook won?!

i have to make a point that cook's win may be temporary. watch your back cook. cos archie's gonna be bigger and win more grammys! HAHAHA! anyway, who would care if you are an idol winner or not as long as you sell a gazillion records?

im bored

had a great time with my new student- liya. i think she's full of potential to achieve her desired results. she just needs a little pushing from me. glad i found a student who's willing to listen and learn something from the no-experience-at-all tutor like me. probably giving her tuition twice a week from now onwards cos i think she really needs to brush up on her content. other than that, she has an improving attitude towards studying, which i think is excellent! jiayou liya! :)

so now im like promoting myself to some guitar juniors, in hopes to actually tutor them (and earn more money). dont ask me how much im charging cos i think im underpaid. i mean, severely underpaid. sighs. probably taking up more assignments can make me feel better.

kinda crashed guitar orientation aka JAM (junior's aptitude for music) after tuition. i miss the guitar room. haven stepped in there since the last performance, which was July 2007! many changes have taken place from then on. TPJC is actually transforming into a huge MacDonalds' campus!? walls are repainted into yellow and red. wth. even the teacher-in-charge has changed. from er-hmmm to ms YEAH. yes. ms YEAH.

the juniors in guitar are definitely growing and improving in their playing. but i would say there is still room for improvement. especially for new guitar 1. hang in there ppl!

its 1am. need to remove the contact lens from my tired eyes. cya soon. i hope.

The Wake

she left on tuesday evening while in labour. fluid from the womb flowed into her lungs, causing her to collaspe. the newborn was saved and is currently in the ICU.

she seemed peaceful when we last saw her yesterday.

i will remember her for her passion for teaching, and also someone who had a gentle, caring and approachable dispositon.

thank you Mrs Serene Ng for your guidance in emath. we will miss you.

You Would Choose Money
You know that love doesn't always last forever - but money can.Why bother with jealousy, petty fights, and hurt feelings? You rather just go shopping! And while marrying for money may be lonely, you'll always be well dressed, well traveled, and well fed.
